My review

It took a whole adventure with many ups and downs, but Rayne Meyers is now officially Mrs. Davenport, as she married the love of her life, billionaire Hale Davenport. After the wedding, the newlyweds embark on a luxurious honeymoon, one that even lasts eight weeks! Eight weeks filled with rest, relaxation, steamy moments and travelling the world together. But Rayne wouldn’t be Rayne if things would go wrong somehow, right?

It finally happened, Rayne has married Hale! It wasn’t easy, but at the end of the previous book, I was actually thrilled for the pair, even if they are fictional characters.

Of course the honeymoon has to be a lavish one, and not one for just a week or two like we mere mortals would have 😊. But if you have the opportunity and the ways to do so, why shouldn’t you have an eight – weeks – long honeymoon?

Rayne is still her typical self, finding herself into situations that , let’s be honest here, no normal person would ever find themselves in. But even her chaotic world and antics is what we love about her, isn’t it?

I loved reading Rayne and Hale actually have couple – time, no work, no Remington, just the two of them. How lovely was it to read how they are having actually quality time without any disturbance. They are even getting closer in this novella, which I thought wouldn’t be possible! 😊.

Of course this gives them the opportunity to be as steamy as they want/ need and phew, steamy it was! 😊

While Rayne and Hale are enjoying their honeymoon and each other, it was so utterly sweet to read how they are missing Elara. And yes, it may be normal, missing your child, but we all know that there are people in this world that wouldn’t be thinking about their children at all. But Rayne and Hale are the most devoted and loving parents possible.

This honeymoon brings Hale and Rayne all over different places in the world. And Rayne wouldn’t be Rayne if there are occasions where things go a tiny bit wrong for her, making me laugh out loud.

And I am absolutely NOT biased as an Italian, as I couldn’t agree more with Rayne and her falling in love with Italy! Not at all! 😊

This was a short story, compared with the other books in the series (that’s why it’s a NOVELLA Tizi 😊), so I was a bit sad when I reached the end too quickly. But that didn’t take away that it was wonderful to read how Rayne and Hale are even getting closer, even if I thought it couldn’t be possible. On their honeymoon, Rayne and Hale show us how deep love can be, and how much fun and laughter, with even some disaster, you can have with the person you are over the moon for.
