Before reading 1 word, I knew this would be worthy of 5 stars!

My review

Kat Parker is a bodyguard with a new assignment, she has to protect British actor Zac Edwards. As the latest heartthrob, he gets a lot of female attention. But when he appears to have a stalker, getting too close to him.

Zac normally uses his charms to get the woman he wants, but no matter what he does, Kat is determined to keep work and personal life separated.
Is Zac only looking for a fling as Kat suspects? And how long can they ignore the attraction?

Having read several book of Kathryn Freeman, I couldn’t wait with reading this one. I knew an amazing story was waiting for me to be devoured.
I don’t know how she does it, but every time it takes me by surprise how different each story is.

The dynamic between Zac and Kat is something you can already suspect, but there is more drama in this one, compared with her other stories.
The fact that there is a stalker, and there is absolutely no clue who it is, makes this more mysterious!

What I really loved is the strength of Kat. Being a female bodyguard is difficult for her. Not because she doesn’t like her job, but because of the prejudices. Of course everyone who think of a bodyguard, thinks about this muscled, strong man, and not a woman.
Yet Kat quickly shows her skills. She is never losing her eyes of her client, sees things nobody would pay attention to.

But she is also a caring person. While her sister is facing her addiction, Kat looks after her teenage niece. Which for the obvious reasons is not an easy task. She does whatever she can for her sister and her niece, even if it means being a mean aunt sometimes.

And Zac, well he totally blew me away. Yes, he is a famous actor and yes, he has the looks. But he is also just an amazing man!
He respects Kat her wishes, and does not push her. And even when he knows there is no chance at something more, he wants to make Kat happy.
He’s also not afraid to open up towards her, showing his real emotions. And he also has a sense of right and wrong. He knows he’s a burden and he makes clear he understands just that.
And when we get to know more about his past, well my admiration for him just grew even bigger.

This story gave me exactly what I wanted, and gave me even more! The fact that there is also the factor about a mysterious stalker and with totally no indication who the culprit was, was making me love this story even more. If possible I would even add a sixth star as a review if possible, but as the maximum is only five, I add it in my review instead!!! ******
