Another wedding with a mystery for Lexie and Theo!
Synopsis
It’s Summertime at The Cornish Confetti Agency!
When Lexie Harrington is asked to co-ordinate Kat and Dylan’s ‘English village fête’ wedding, she’s determined that this time everything will go according to her carefully laid plans; no ice bucket challenges, no whoopee cushions, and absolutely no googly eyes attached to everything in sight!
With gorgeous journalist-cum-wedding columnist Theo Barker to offer a helping hand, Lexie is optimistic that she can deliver the fairy tale wedding her clients have always dreamed of…. until the best man Noah is targeted by a loose hosepipe, the wedding rings go walk-about, and his beloved scarlet Porsche takes on a distinctly unpleasant aroma.
Can Lexie and Theo uncover what’s behind the mysterious goings on, or will the Cornish Confetti Agency be forced to close its doors to the future brides and grooms of glorious Cornwall?
My review
Lexie is organizing Kat and Dylan’s ‘English Village fête’ wedding. But a wedding for the Cornish Confetti Agency wouldn’t be the right wedding if there weren’t any mysteries…
The planning is going smoothly until the best man Noah seems to be targeted. Who is behind all the misfortunes?
And why is Theo behaving oddly?
Again a real pleasure reading about Lexie and her adventures, no matter how much chaos they cause her!
Lexie is enjoying her life and her temporarily job as a planner. But she has to decide how her future will look like.
She likes planning weddings, but what when the owner of the agency returns? Will there still be a spot her for?
And what about her feeling for Theo? She knows how she feels, but haven’t said the actual words yet…
So many things to think about and then the upcoming wedding seems to go wrong…
Noah is the targeted man, and yes, he seems like a prick, but when I got to know the reason for his ‘assholeness’, I couldn’t feel but sorry for him.
I enjoyed reading how Lexie and Theo are teaming up again for finding the culprit. The way they are trying to unfold the truth together, was making me be a detective myself. But the moments that they spent together, not being detectives, were real sweet. The way they just seem to be perfect for each other, ugh, just wonderful to read.
What I didn’t like although, was the way Theo sometimes behaved. Even if I knew that Theo was one of the good guys, the way he acted was off…
I honestly did not want to doubt him, but he just gave me no choice. Poor Lexie, going through the same distress as me!
Without giving away anything, the end will make you swoon!
A beautiful story again, with a dream wedding, a Lexie finally figuring out where her future lays and an ending making me all happy!
Can’t wait for more!!!!

Wow, thank you ever so much for the wonderful review, Tiziana! I’m thrilled you enjoyed your time with Lexie & Theo… and Dilly! Love Daisy xx
