My review

Twelve short stories about normal women, at crossroads in their lives.
Each woman is in a different stage in life, but each woman has to face changes in her life. Each story is not like the previous one, showing us the beauty but also the fragility of life and how to cope with each new challenge.

This book contains twelve total different stories, about twelve totally different women in a total different situation.
But no matter how different we all are, we all have one thing in common, the desire to love and to be loved.
And whether we have lost our loves, haven’t found it (yet) or have found another love, we women are always listening to our heart.
Each story, each woman shows us exactly that.

But each story also shows us how one action can change just everything. From a postcard sent by error, to applying to a magazine just to see the paper boy more, to never stop loving a son who has made mistakes or to let a stray cat in your house.
No matter how short the stories are (and I definitely would have read more of each and every one of them!), they all put a smile on my face.

This was something different compared to my usual read, but I quickly understood the purpose of this book and enjoyed reading each story separately.
Although I was a tiny bit disappointed that the real George Clooney didn’t make an appearance! 😀
But despite the lack of George, if you need an injection or a shot of (the possibility of) love, this book will be exactly what you have to read!
